The Denman Island Recreation Commission Society announced that the Blackberry Faire is scheduled to return on Labour Day weekend, with a parade, used-book sale, food booths, music, produce competition and zucchini race planned.[1]
The notice said the parade was to start at 11:45 am from the Guest House and invited island residents, visitors and people caught in the ferry lineup to take part.[1]
The society said it expected attendees old enough to attend to be vaccinated and asked those who were not to wear a mask.[1]
