A Denman Conservancy Association notice in the September 9 Grapevine says small trees were cut in Inner Island Nature Reserve and logs were removed from Lindsay Dickson Nature Reserve. [1]

The notice says it was unclear whether the cutting was related to trail clearing and that some cut wood appeared to have been removed from Inner Island Nature Reserve. It describes the log removal as trespass and says the association manages both conservation areas. [1]

The association says trail clearing and windfall work should be done in communication with and under the direction of its Lands Committee, and that no cutting or removal of wood is permitted from its conservation lands. [1]
