Trustees advance Denman affordable-housing agreement amendments

The Denman Island Local Trust Committee approved amendments to its housing agreement bylaw at its September 7 meeting, including revised eligibility language for affordable dwelling units and a provision for Indigenous elders. ^[1]

The committee gave the amended bylaw second and third readings and forwarded it to the Islands Trust Executive Committee for approval. ^[1]

The minutes say the amendments change the Denman Community Land Trust Association address in the instrument and revise the tenant-selection provisions in Schedule B. ^[1]
