Denman Island Fire Rescue is seeking additional volunteers to train as front-line firefighters, according to a recruitment notice in this week’s Grapevine.^[1]

The notice says the service offers training to professional standards, first-class gear and equipment, and a one-on-one mentoring program.^[1]

People interested in learning about becoming a firefighter are asked to contact Fire Chief Don Luckett by email, the notice says.^[1]
