Denman Island’s community hall plans to hold a Halloween bonfire and hand out treats on Halloween night, with possible fireworks still under consideration, according to a notice in this week’s Grapevine.[1]
The hall is asking residents to drop off wood, branches or construction debris that is unpainted and untreated by October 31.[1]
The notice says the hall is installing a heat pump in the front hall this winter to improve airflow and heating and provide air conditioning.[1]
The Denman Island Residents Community Services Society’s annual general meeting is scheduled for November 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the back hall.[1]
