The Denman Island Local Trust Committee deferred its response to the Islands 2050 bylaw referral until the formal consultation process for Denman Island is complete, according to minutes of its November 2 special meeting.[1]
The minutes say committee members discussed the process, options and timing, and supported an approach that would provide an opportunity to solicit and reflect community viewpoints.[1]
The committee’s resolution says the referral matter was deferred until completion of the formal consultation process as applied to Denman Island.[1]
