Margaret Magson died on January 17 at Cumberland Lodge in Cumberland, aged 90, according to a notice published in this week’s Grapevine. ^[1]

The notice says Magson and her husband moved to Denman Island in 1970 and became co-owners of a local store. They sold the business in 1974 and moved elsewhere on the island. ^[1]

It says Magson supported her husband’s work as a school bus driver, fire chief and small-engine mechanic, while also helping with schedules and calls. ^[1]
