Denman residents can respond to a questionnaire on farming regulations, which the Denman Island Local Trust Committee endorsed in February, subject to changes discussed at its meeting.^[1]

The committee’s February 15 minutes say the questionnaire was developed after a review of data, maps, reports and policy, along with interviews. Trustees discussed concerns about its length and complexity and the need to explain the limits of Islands Trust jurisdiction.^[1]

The committee also directed staff to arrange and advertise a community information meeting in the spring. The questionnaire notice in this week’s Grapevine says it remains open until April 15, 2022.^[2]
