A Denman Medical Clinic update in this week’s Grapevine says Dr. Wilson plans to retire at the end of 2022 and that plans are underway to recruit service providers to continue care on the island.[1]
The update says funding has been secured for the future and the clinic is working out details before advertising. It says the plan may provide for a full-time-equivalent physician and possibly a nurse practitioner.[1]
The clinic update also says a registered nurse focused on chronic-disease management and a dietitian are expected soon. It says those services can be accessed through a doctor’s referral or by calling the clinic to book an appointment.[1]
