Funding for a feasibility study of a housing service on Denman Island has been approved by the Comox Valley Regional District, Chair Sue Ellen Fast reported at the Local Trust Committee’s March 22 meeting.[1]

The minutes also record concerns raised during Town Hall about a lack of housing to rent or afford and claims that housing restrictions and enforcement were contributing to staffing shortages at local businesses. Those comments were recorded as concerns expressed by speakers, not as findings by the committee.[1]
