The Denman Housing Association’s Denman Green proposal was the subject of a community information meeting at the Community Hall on May 30, followed by a public hearing. The May 31 Local Trust Committee minutes record that the hearing took place, but the supplied excerpt does not include its proceedings.^[1][2]

At the information meeting, the Islands Trust planner outlined proposed changes to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw, including a new affordable-housing zone and density changes for parcels on Woodham and Danes roads. The proposal included 20 rental units for qualified occupants at affordable rates, with annual reporting to the Islands Trust.^[1]
