The Denman Island Museum plans to open July 1 for two months, with a new natural-history display focused on wetlands and an outdoor display of farm and logging equipment in development.^[1]

The museum’s notice says the equipment is moving outside to a new display area intended to be accessible year-round. The outdoor display remains a work in progress, with equipment, photographs and labels hoped for by the end of summer.^[1]

The notice says volunteers are needed to host visitors and work on displays, archives and videos about Denman Islanders. It describes the museum as part of the Denman Seniors and Museum Society complex.^[1]
