Denman Island’s bus service is planning two routes this summer: a community bus and a shuttle between Gravelly Bay and Denman West. ^[1]

The community bus is scheduled to start June 22 and make a north-south circuit three times a day on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with stops intended to line up with services and events including the food bank and farmers’ market. ^[1]

The summer shuttle is scheduled to run from July 1 to September 5, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holiday Mondays. The notice says the service will use two buses, with the second supporting peak periods. ^[1]

The community service is planned to run for six months, initially using a passenger van. Its schedule and route may change as the service develops, the notice says. ^[1]
