The Denman Island Community Education Society distributed 46 holiday hampers supporting 94 people with food, gifts and treats, according to a thank-you notice in this week’s Grapevine.^[1]

The society said 30 volunteers helped prepare, pack, wrap and deliver the hampers at the Community Hall.^[1]

The notice thanked local businesses and community groups for donations and other help, including the Denman Island General Store, Denman Island Hardware and Denman Island Community School.^[1]
