A contributor to this week’s Islands Grapevine criticized communication with landowners in a Denman Island water service area following a change in ownership, and called for project information and a published project scope or budget.[1]
The writer said that, as of January 1, 2023, the new owner had not made a hardcopy water-project information guide or handout available. The writer also questioned the escalating rate schedule and suggested considering a steering committee.[1]
The article presents the contributor’s claims and opinions. The Denman Local Trust Committee minutes provided here do not record the water-project matters described in the article.[1]
