Denman’s Local Trust Committee gave second readings to amended farming bylaws at its June 6 meeting, according to adopted minutes. ^[1]

The committee amended proposed changes to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw, including a change to the agri-tourism definition and removal of a two-year limit in a permitted-buildings provision. ^[1]

The committee also added a future project to align the Official Community Plan’s land-use designations with Land Use Bylaw zoning, and directed that affected property owners be notified of changes to land-use designations. ^[1]

The minutes say staff reported that adding a zoning-map change to the current amendments was possible but would extend the project timeline by a few months. ^[1]
