The Denman Island Local Trust Committee reported that seven people had been appointed to the Denman Island Housing Advisory Planning Commission, according to minutes of its June 6 meeting. ^[1]

The minutes say the appointments were made at a closed meeting and list the commission members. ^[1]

At the same meeting, public comments included calls for affordable housing and concern that delays to housing work could affect the community. ^[1]
