Denman writers are scheduled to take part in the Readers and Writers Festival on Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22, with readings opening sessions by invited authors and a separate local-writers session. ^[1]

Bill Engleson is scheduled to read his short story “The End of Summer, 1968” on Friday. Lorraine Martinuik and Annie Siegel are scheduled to read on Saturday before sessions with Tolu Oloruntoba and Ruth Ozeki. ^[1]

Seven other local writers are scheduled to present their work in the Activity Centre on Saturday afternoon; entrance to that session is by donation. ^[1]
