The Denman Island Community Education Society has scheduled its annual general meeting for October 17 at 2:45 p.m. at the Hub, according to a notice in this week’s Grapevine.^[1]

The notice lists the society’s programs, including after-school activities, a school lunch program, Teen Night, Parent and Tot’s, a food bank and recreation.^[1]

The society says tea, coffee and snacks will be served and invites people to find out about its work and how to get involved.^[1]
