The Denman Seniors and Museum Society plans to present a special resolution at its annual general meeting on Wednesday, November 22, to amend its constitution and bylaws.[1]
The proposed addition would recognize the Museum and Archives as a society program and place it under terms of reference for a committee endorsed by the board.[1]
The notice says the society’s board believes the museum needs recognition as a program rather than only as part of the building, and says the museum and archives manage community cultural assets over time. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Activity Centre Lounge.[1]
