Denman Island Community Education Society says it is preparing Holiday Hampers for community members who need support, with gifts, fresh produce, groceries and other items included.^[1]

The notice says the program delivered 46 hampers last year and expects more requests this year as Food Bank use has increased.^[1]

DICES is accepting donations and says volunteers are needed for wrapping presents, packing food and deliveries; the notice asks that hamper forms and donations arrive by December 12.^[1]
