Denman housing report moves to next-step review

Denman’s Local Trust Committee asked staff to analyze recommendations from the Housing Advisory Planning Commission and schedule a special meeting via Zoom at the beginning of 2024 to discuss options and next steps.^[1]

At its November 14 meeting, the committee received the commission’s final report and a guide to it. Trustees also requested at least twelve printed copies for community distribution and asked staff to post the documents and related correspondence on the Denman Island Projects web page.^[1]

The minutes say a community information meeting could introduce the report with visual aids. Staff were to provide their analysis at a special meeting before a community information meeting.^[1]
