A community information meeting on February 13 reviewed proposed Denman bylaws concerning farming, including changes to agricultural designations, agri-tourism and accommodation, and setbacks for agricultural buildings.[1]
The meeting minutes describe the changes as proposals being considered, not adopted rules. A public hearing was to follow the information meeting.[1]
During questions, planners said the proposal did not change pump-house regulations. The minutes also record that commercial groundwater use requires provincial approval through a groundwater licence.[1]
