Denman trustee raises ferry concerns as advisory committee remains suspended

At the April 9 Local Trust Committee meeting, Trustee Sam Borthwick said BC Ferries had suspended the Ferry Advisory Committee since last year, leaving no forum to discuss community concerns about ferry travel.

Trustee Sam Borthwick told the Denman Island Local Trust Committee on April 9 that BC Ferries had suspended the Ferry Advisory Committee since last year. He said he was frustrated that there was no forum to discuss community concerns and rising negative impacts related to ferry travel.^[1]
