The Denman Island Local Trust Committee adopted amendments to its Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw at a special meeting on May 7, according to the minutes.[1]
The committee also endorsed a project charter for a review of housing-related temporary use permits, the Denman Island Housing Action Plan as amended, and a revised charter for the next phase of the Housing Review Project.[1]
The minutes say the housing review process includes fair and respectful engagement with K’ómoks First Nation. They also record that a community information meeting and public hearing on the temporary-use-permit review are planned for the same day.[1]
