Denman’s Local Trust Committee adopted Bylaw 228, an amendment to the Official Community Plan, and Bylaw 229, an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw, at a special meeting on May 7.[1]
The committee also endorsed a project charter for a Housing Related Temporary Use Permit Review Project and an amended Denman Island Housing Action Plan.[1]
For the next phase of the Denman Island Housing Review Project, trustees endorsed a revised project charter based on the process recommended in the staff report. The minutes record discussion of housing options, including site-specific zoning and further consideration of tiny homes on wheels.[1]
