The June 20 Islands Grapevine lists a K’ómoks Festival for June 21, with activities scheduled from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 3535 Bayside Road on the K’ómoks foreshore.[1]
The notice describes ceremonies, cultural activities, art, storytelling, workshops and dancing, and says the event is being coordinated through Comox Rocks and a new non-profit society.[1]
A separate notice says K’ómoks First Nation is hosting dancing, storytelling, artisans and information tables at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 21.[1]
