A free Community Feast is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, at the Community Hall, with dinner served at 6:30 p.m., according to the event notice.^[1]

The notice says the meal will feature local meats and vegetables, with gluten-free and vegan options, and asks attendees to bring their own plate, cutlery and cup.^[1]

It says 19 University of Victoria students will be camping on Denman for the last two weeks of August as part of an Environmental Studies course, and that the feast is an opportunity for them to practise consensus decision-making.^[1]
