The Denman Local Trust Committee gave first readings on August 13 to proposed amendments that would remove the Temporary Use Permit requirement for secondary dwellings in specified zones.[1]
The staff report described the affected zones as R2, Agriculture, Forestry and Resource, and said the proposal also removes the density bank.[1]
The minutes say the committee noted that removing the permit requirement and density bank allows for the creation of more housing.[1]
