Denman’s Local Trust Committee gave first readings to two proposed bylaws that would remove the temporary-use-permit requirement for secondary dwellings in several zones, according to its August meeting minutes.[1]
The minutes say the proposed changes also remove the density bank, which staff described as administratively complex and obsolete.[1]
The committee’s minutes record that the bylaws received first readings; they do not record final adoption.[1]
