The Denman Island Local Trust Committee gave first readings to proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw concerning secondary dwellings on specified rural, agricultural, forestry and resource-zoned lands.[1]
The August 13 minutes say the draft bylaws proposed removing the requirement for a Temporary Use Permit for secondary dwellings in those zones and removing the density bank.[1]
The minutes record that the committee gave first reading to Bylaw No. 248, an Official Community Plan amendment, and Bylaw No. 249, a Land Use Bylaw amendment. The minutes describe these as first readings, not final adoption.[1]
