The Denman Island Community Education Society has invited residents to its annual general meeting on Oct. 15 at 2:45 p.m. at the Hub.^[1]

The society said it provides educational and recreational services for children, youth, families and adults. Its programs include after-school activities, school lunch support, Teen Night, camps, a food bank and holiday hampers.^[1]

The notice said tea, coffee and snacks will be served and invited attendees to learn about the society’s work and how to get involved.^[1]
