The third Charity Auction and Garage Sale raised more than $24,000 after expenses, Stirling Fraser wrote in a thank-you published this week.[1]

The event drew more than 200 bidders, and 100 took something home, Fraser wrote.[1]

The proceeds are going to the United Church and Gathering Place, Farm to Family, the QTNR animal sanctuary, the Denman Youth Group and the Denman Health Centre.[1]

Fraser thanked volunteers who sorted donations and helped run the event.[1]
