The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to prepare draft amendments to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw to enable the Denman Conservancy Association’s application to rezone four parcels from forestry to conservation.[1]

The December 10 minutes say one parcel is split-zoned between forestry and agriculture and lies within the Agricultural Land Reserve. The committee also asked staff to send an early referral of the application to the Islands Trust Conservancy and Agricultural Land Commission for comment.[1]

The minutes describe the requests as steps to prepare draft bylaws and seek comments; they do not record a final rezoning decision.[1]
