The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to prepare draft amendments to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw to enable a Denman Conservancy Association rezoning application.[1]
The application seeks to rezone four parcels from forestry to conservation. The December 10 minutes say the parcels are owned and managed by the association, and one is split-zoned between forestry and agriculture and lies within the Agricultural Land Reserve.[1]
Trustees also asked staff to refer the application to the Islands Trust Conservancy and Agricultural Land Commission for comment.[1]
