A talk on conservation breeding and headstarting for Western Painted Turtles, Oregon Spotted frogs and Taylor’s Checkerspot butterflies is scheduled for Feb. 26 at Denman Community Hall, according to an announcement in the Grapevine.[1]
The announcement identifies Andrea Gielens Lead Biologist of WPC’s BC Programs as the speaker. The event is listed for 7:30 to 9 pm in the D.I. Community Hall Back Hall.[1]
The Purple Martin Preservation Project said the presentation follows a Jan. 22 event about the Taylor’s Checkerspot recovery program and is part of a four-month wildlife conservation speaker series.[1]
