Denman residents are scheduled to hear about proposed Bylaws 248 and 249 at a community information meeting and public hearing on March 18 at the Denman Activity Centre, according to a notice in this week’s Grapevine.^[1]

The information meeting is scheduled for 10:15 a.m., followed by the public hearing at 10:30 a.m.^[1] The proposed amendments concern the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw, including removing the requirement for a Temporary Use Permit for secondary dwellings in the R2 zone.^[1]

The Local Trust Committee’s January minutes record that the committee approved a development variance permit and discussed a separate rezoning application involving cultural and archaeological heritage information.^[2] Those minutes do not record a decision on the proposed housing bylaws.^[2]
