BC Ferries is seeking feedback on a proposed summer schedule trial for the Denman–Hornby route, with responses accepted from April 1 to 22.[1]
The poll offers keeping the schedule unchanged or shifting the second vessel, Kahloke, by one hour Monday through Thursday. Under the proposed adjustment, those sailings would run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rather than 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.[1]
The notice says the proposal is intended to reduce congestion during peak summer sailings. The trial is scheduled for June 19 to September 1, and the notice says additional sailings are not being considered.[1]
