Denman trustees endorse next phase of housing review

Denman’s Local Trust Committee endorsed a revised project charter for the Denman Housing Review Project at a special electronic meeting on May 8.^[1]

The committee also asked staff to integrate Official Community Plan technical amendments and an updated First Nations acknowledgement into the project charter.^[1]

Trustees requested a special meeting with the Hornby Island Local Trust Committee in summer or fall 2025 to discuss potential mutually supportive housing solutions for both islands and review draft K’ómoks First Nation engagement recommendations.^[1]

The minutes list possible public-engagement formats, including an evening online presentation, written and online comment forms, and an in-person session.^[1]
