The summer surge in ferry traffic had begun, Denman Island Local Trust Committee minutes record, with Trustee Sam Borthwick reporting the change at the committee’s May 20 meeting.^[1]

Borthwick also noted disappointment in the dissolution of the Ferry Advisory Committees and the resulting lack of ability to meaningfully engage with BC Ferries, the minutes say.^[1]
