The Denman Island Local Trust Committee gave first and second readings to proposed bylaws tied to the Triple Rock Land Cooperative application at its May 20 meeting, according to adopted minutes.[1]

The application seeks four additional dwelling units, bringing the total to 19, with an updated housing agreement intended to encourage long-term affordability, the minutes say.[1]

The committee asked staff to schedule a community information meeting before the public hearing and to refer a proposed Official Community Plan amendment to First Nations, local governments and agencies for comment.[1]
