Denman’s Local Trust Committee asked staff to schedule a community engagement session about the housing project in September or October 2025, according to minutes of its July 15 meeting.^[1]

The session is part of the committee’s housing project, which includes review of the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw.^[1]

At the meeting, the committee also heard a proposal from the Snag Housing Co-op to pre-zone land at 5400 Northwest Road for 10 housing units in two clusters, along with a campground, community garden and shared areas.^[1]

The minutes say the proposal was presented by the delegation; they do not record a committee decision on the proposal.^[1]
