The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to schedule a community engagement session about its housing project in September or October 2025, according to the July meeting minutes.^[1]

The minutes say staff were preparing key materials for the July 26 community engagement session and that Saturday September 20 had been identified as a potential date for future engagement.^[1]

At the same meeting, a delegation presented a proposal for 10 units of housing in two clusters at 5400 Northwest Road, to be owned by a not-for-profit housing co-op; the minutes record the proposal and do not say it was approved.^[1]
