Denman Island Seed Fest is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Pavilion, described in the notice as the covered recreation space near the community hall.^[1]

Farm Folk / City Folk plans to bring seed-separating and seed-cleaning equipment for demonstration and community use, while the Denman Island Growers’ and Producers’ Alliance plans to bring threshing and winnowing equipment.^[1]

The notice says people can bring seeds to try the equipment, and that North Island College will provide free hard red winter wheat seed for fall planting.^[1]

Food is scheduled to be available at the event.^[1]
