A Roads Committee formed under the Denman Island Residents’ Association is asking residents to share their concerns and priorities for island roads and road safety. [1]
The committee says it is working with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit and Main Road North Island Contracting. It reports that its first four meetings covered terms of reference, initial identification of road issues and contact with government organizations. [1]
A committee member is scheduled to be on the Denman General Store veranda every Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 during November to hear residents’ views. The committee also invites comments by email and says it aims to consolidate its findings into a survey. [1]
