CityWest says its fibre-optic construction crew is back on Denman Island and working in the Danes Road area, after a provincial strike delayed permitting and slowed the build.[1]
The company says the project’s expanded scope adds 238 homes, representing 95% of occupied properties on the island. Construction began last fall on Pickles Road and Owl Crescent.[1]
CityWest says it aims to complete the project this spring and plans to bring new sections online in stages as construction proceeds. It says 13 of 47 homes left out of the expanded scope now have possible service solutions, while it continues exploring options for the remaining homes.[1]
The company says residents seeking project updates can use its contact form or call its listed number.[1]
