The Denman Island Local Trust Committee gave third readings to proposed bylaws for the Triple Rock Land Cooperative at its February 17 special meeting. The proposals include four additional residential units, secondary suites in all units and a housing agreement securing 19 cooperative units as affordable housing.^[1]

The committee also gave third readings to the proposed Official Community Plan and land-use changes for the Denman Conservancy application. The changes would designate land for conservation and add four residential densities to the density bank, while the proposed conservation zone permits passive recreation and limited accessory structures, with no residential use.^[1]

During discussion of the cooperative proposal, the minutes record support for the additional units and concerns about secondary suites. The applicant said financing discussions had taken place but no financing was in place.^[1]
