Denman Island’s Earth Week beach cleanup scheduled its Big Sort for Saturday, April 25, at the Old School, where volunteers were to sort collected debris and pack it for transport to Ocean Legacy marine recycling.[1]
The notice asked volunteers to bring gloves and said some gloves, snacks and refreshments would be available. It also invited people who needed help getting debris to the Old School to contact the organizer.[1]
