The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to present draft bylaws for first reading based on decisions made at its April 17 special meeting, according to adopted minutes.[1]
The committee reviewed draft provisions on housing, home occupations, guest accommodation, secondary suites and subdivision, and recorded proposed edits and requests for further information.[1]
The minutes say anticipated first reading in May would trigger referrals and further community engagement. A trustee also reiterated that a community information meeting and public hearing would follow first reading.[1]
