A member of the public asked the Denman Local Trust Committee to decline applications PL-DP-2026-0052 and PL-DVP-2026-0053 at its June 23 meeting, according to draft minutes.[1]
The speaker disputed a staff report’s statement that the variance would have little or no impact on neighbouring properties. The minutes record the speaker’s claims about encroachment, tree removal and unresolved issues involving access, drainage, repairs and safety.[1]
The minutes record the speaker’s objections and request, but do not include a response from staff or a committee decision on the applications.[1]
